Areta

Areta

Areta is the Avalanche security marketplace, where one audit request returns competing quotes from vetted audit firms.

Overview

Areta is a security marketplace built for Avalanche. Instead of emailing audit firms one at a time and waiting on each to scope your code, you describe your project once and let vetted auditors compete for the work. Quotes come back so you can compare price, timeline, and fit before you commit.

The marketplace is free for the teams requesting reviews, and it stays free. Areta earns on the auditor side, so there is no platform fee for builders.

It is also the marketplace that several firms in this directory already point to. If you open the OpenZeppelin or BailSec pages here, their "Access Through Areta Marketplace" links send you to the same place.

How it works

  1. Submit your scope. Share the repository, the contracts in scope, and your target timeline through a guided form.
  2. Receive competing quotes. Whitelisted firms respond with pricing and availability, turning weeks of back-and-forth into days.
  3. Compare and choose. Line up the offers, ask questions, and pick the firm that fits your budget and schedule.
  4. Engage directly. Once you choose, you work with the auditor directly through the rest of the review.

Why builders use it

  • One request reaches every whitelisted firm on the marketplace instead of a handful of inboxes.
  • Competing quotes tend to pull the price down rather than up.
  • Pricing and terms are visible up front, so you compare like for like.
  • It is free for the team requesting the audit.

Audit subsidies

Eligible Avalanche projects may qualify for audit-subsidy cashback through the marketplace. The programs and their terms change over time, so check what's on offer when you submit.

Auditors on the marketplace

Areta lists a roster of whitelisted security firms for Avalanche. Several of them have their own pages in this directory, including OpenZeppelin and BailSec, and you can reach them and the rest of the roster through a single request rather than contacting each one separately.

Getting started

  1. Go to areta.market/avalanche.
  2. Submit your audit request with the scope and timeline.
  3. Compare the quotes that come back.
  4. Choose a firm and start the review.
